Groups, Volunteers, Ministries

  • Bible Study/Small Groups

    Join one of our many small group bible studies either in-person or via Zoom. Contact Pastor Alexander Haines for available groups.

  • Sunday School

    Sunday School classes are available during our 10 a.m. service. Children start in the sanctuary and are dismissed to classrooms following the Children's Sermon. All classes are held on the second floor of our Christian Education Wing. Grades K - 2 meet in room 204, and grades 3-4 meet in room 205. Nursery is available for infants to preschool in room 207.

  • Wednesday Night Church (WNC)

    Join us for children’s fellowship, worship and study! At 6:15 p.m. a worship service begins in room 204 in the Christian Education Wing. At 6:30 p.m. we break off into age appropriate groups. Grades K - 4 in room 204, and Confirmation Class for grades 5 and up in room 203.

  • Presbyterian Women

    Presbyterian Women is an organization consisting of all the women of the church. The mission is to develop Christian Fellowship with the Presbyterian Women of this congregation through a faith journey of commitment to local, regional, and international service, encouraging and supporting all tasks undertaken by each committee and sharing in spiritual development through these activities and opportunity that bring glory to God. They meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 pm in Fellowship Hall.

  • Youth Group

    Our Mid-high and high school students are actively engaged in Bible study and volunteer projects. They participate in local events such as Operation Christmas Child and Howell Melon Fest. They annually take a mission trip to a community in need somewhere in the USA.

  • Cue Crew

    The Cue Crew is looking for people with basic computer knowledge to run the slides during the service on Sundays. Your contribution would only be one Sunday a month.

  • Deacons

    The Deacons are 18 members of FPC who are charged with service and care of the members. They connect with shut-ins, military families, and college students. They take meals to the sick and organize events to support the needy.

  • Elders

    Elders are elected by the congregation to faithfully serve in the areas of worship and membership, property and finance, mission and evangelism, administration, and Christian education.

  • Prayer Partners

    Anyone in need of prayer can share their request with members of the prayer partners. To be put on the prayer list or be a prayer partner contact the church office at 517-546-0290.

  • Music Ministry

    You do not need to know how to read music, just come with a willing spirit and a joy to worship and praise the Lord! Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings. Handbells at 6:30 and Chancel choir at 7:00.
