  • Alexander Haines

    PASTOR

    Raised in Minnesota, Pastor Alexander attended school in Southern California (Claremont McKenna College) and New Jersey (Princeton Theological Seminary), then was ordained and served churches in South Dakota before coming here in 2018. He, his wife Rachel, and their children keep chickens and a garden. Pastor Alexander is passionate about teaching the Bible to people of all ages and counseling individuals and couples through important moments in their lives.

  • Penny Anderson

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Penny joined the staff at First Presbyterian Church of Howell in 2014. She is an integral part of the church office with her willingness to help; from producing weekly bulletins, organizing monthly newsletters, counting money, making copies and many other tasks.

  • Julie Aramian

    FPC CHILD CARE DIRECTOR

    Julie has been the Director of First Presbyterian Children’s Care Center since 1997. She graduated from Central Michigan University in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development and lives in South Lyon with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

  • Linda Herington

    ORGANIST/ACCOMPANIST

    Linda has been a church organist/pianist for over 50 years and has been a part of this congregation on and off for over 30 years. She graduated from Sherwood School of Music and has two years of music studies at Schoolcraft College.

  • Claudia Knudsen

    INTERIM CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DIRECTOR, WEBMASTER

    Claudia has been a member of the church for over 20 years. As her 2 children grew up in the church she was active in youth ministries with them. She is helping out as Interim CE Director as the church continues its search for a permanent CE person.
